Life on the Lake
Lake Petenwell and Castle Rock Lake are located in the heart of one of Wisconsin’s best recreation and leisure areas, offering endless opportunities for fun and relaxation both on and off the water.
Lake Petenwell
Lake Petenwell, the 2nd largest lake in Wisconsin with over 23,000 acres of water, offers endless recreational activities for you to enjoy. It boasts some of the best sailing, fishing, boating, and water sport opportunities in the Midwest! Sailing is a popular activity and the lake is generally calm enough to offer beautiful canoeing and kayaking. Of course, the lake is big and deep enough to offer great opportunities for power boating. And, with over 100 miles of shoreline, many families also enjoy relaxing trips on pontoon boats around the lake. If fishing is more your preference, you’ll be happy to know that the lake is known for its stocks of Walleye, Musky, and Bass. Numerous professional fishing guides also operate on Lake Petenwell and offer trophy Musky and Walleye fishing excursions. But the best part of Lake Petenwell is that it offers plenty of space for everyone, so you can enjoy the fast paced watersports or relax and enjoy a peaceful view, even on the busiest summer holidays.

Castle Rock Lake
If you enjoy watersports, fishing, and easy access to lakeside entertainment, then Castle Rock Lake is the place for you. Castle Rock Lake is the 4th largest lake in Wisconsin at 16,000 acres. It has everything that you could want; beaches, restaurants and bars with live entertainment, a new championship golf course and even weekend beach parties. But with approximately sixty miles of shoreline, the lake is also large enough for you to enjoy a peaceful cruise around the lake and plenty of secluded areas to try catch the abundant walleyes, white bass, and crappies.
